Toy Care Guide

A little care keeps your toys safe, hygienic and working for years. It takes two minutes, and it is worth every one.

Clean before and after

  • Silicone, ABS, glass, metalWarm water and a mild unscented soap, or a toy cleaner. Rinse well and pat dry.
  • TPE and jelly-typeWarm water and toy cleaner only. These materials are porous, so dry fully and keep them apart from other toys.
  • Waterproof or not?Splash-proof toys can be wiped, not dunked. Check the product page before rinsing under the tap.

Pick the right lube

Water-based lube works with every toy and every condom. Silicone lube lasts longer, but it can damage silicone toys, so save it for glass, metal or hard plastic. Oil-based products weaken latex condoms.

Charging and batteries

Charge new toys fully before the first use and top them up every few months, even if they sit in the drawer. Take batteries out of anything you will not use for a while.

Storing your toys

Keep them clean, dry and out of direct sunlight, ideally in the pouch they came with. Store soft materials separately so they do not react with each other.

Lingerie and hosiery

Hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent, never wring, and dry flat away from heat. Lace and net last much longer this way.

If a toy is cracked, sticky or smells unusual, it is time to replace it. Faulty within the guarantee period? Tell us and we will put it right.
