This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit eroticon.co.uk or buy from us, why we need it, who we share it with and what your rights are. It applies under the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and, for customers in the European Union, the EU GDPR.
Who is responsible for your data
Eroticon Ltd is the controller of your personal data. Company number 15563654, registered office: 9a Wick Road Business Park, Wick Road, Burnham-On-Crouch, Essex, CM0 8FA, United Kingdom. For anything to do with your data, email info@eroticon.co.uk.
Your privacy matters to us
We know that what you buy from us is personal. Your order history may say something about your private life, so we treat it as confidential. We use it to deliver your orders and look after you as a customer and, only if you agree, to send you offers that suit you. We never sell your data.

Who we share it with
We share only what each party needs to do its job:
- Shopify, which hosts our shop and checkout;
- our payment providers;
- our fulfilment partner in the UK, which picks, packs and dispatches your order;
- delivery companies such as Royal Mail, DPD and EVRi, and their partners for deliveries to the EU;
- our email service provider, if you have signed up to our emails;
- analytics and advertising providers, only if you have accepted the relevant cookies;
- professional advisers such as our accountants, and public authorities where the law requires it.
These parties may only use your data on our instructions or under their own privacy policies where they act as separate controllers, such as payment providers.
Transfers outside the UK and EU
Some of our service providers, including Shopify, process data in other countries, such as Canada and the United States. When this happens, we rely on adequacy decisions or on approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Order and accounting records are kept for at least six years, because UK tax law requires it. If you unsubscribe from our emails, we stop sending them straight away and keep a record of your choice so that we respect it.
Cookies
We use cookies that are essential for the website and checkout to work. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you agree to them in our cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time by changing your choice there or by clearing the cookies in your browser.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- get a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, where we no longer have a reason to keep it;
- restrict or object to how we use your data, including at any time to marketing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw any consent you have given.
To use any of these rights, email info@eroticon.co.uk. We will reply within one month. There is usually no charge.
Complaints
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113) or, if you live in the EU, to the data protection authority in your country.
Age
Our website and products are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Security
We use secure, reputable service providers, and the website and checkout are encrypted. No system is completely secure, so please keep your account password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.
